Advocacy

Monitors local, state, federal, and national legislation which affects Alzheimer's patients and their families. It keeps legislators and policymakers informed of the impact of this disease and developments while seeking to influence them to support better service and support.

Educational Programs

Provide speakers and presentations for groups ranging from church congregations to police departments. Training seminars are available for a variety of professional and personal needs.

Helpline

Maintain a telephone service for caregivers, giving information, support and guidance to those needing relief from the pressures of giving care. Experienced professionals respond to callers. Call the 24/7 Helpline at: 1-800-272-3900.

Safe Return

Safe Return is a national, government-funded program of the Alzheimer's Association that assists in the identification and safe, timely return of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias who wander off, sometimes from home, and become lost. Register online for the Safe Return program at: medicalert.org/safereturn OR call 888-572-8566.

Support Groups

These groups are for caregivers, family members, Alzheimer's Disease victims, professionals or anyone whose life has been touched by Alzheimer's. The group gatherings are held to tell experiences, share solutions, and relax with others in the same situation.
