The Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley is a vehicle for charitable giving that builds over time, substantial endowment funds for the community. It seeks to bring together individuals and organizations to identify and understand community issues and grant-making opportunities. Their purpose is to enhance the quality of life in Kankakee and Iroquois Counties today and for future generations.

Brings together citizens, organizations, and leaders around topics of concern in our community to work together to create solutions.

Donor Stewardship

Works with donors who use their gifts to create funds that will improve the quality of life in the Community Foundation's service area for generations to come.

Grant-Maker

Awards grants to local non-profits and quasi-government agencies (libraries, park districts, schools, etc).
