Early Education Programs
Early Education/Day Care Programs Hosted at 2 locations: 381 South Fourth Avenue (Kankakee) & the Safe Haven facility - 101 South Division Street (Aroma Park). Provides children (6 weeks to 5 years) with educational and developmental support that lays a foundation for life-long learning. Provides safe and developmentally enriched caregiving and education that promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and prepares them for future growth and development.

My Second Home Foster Care Program
Therapeutic foster care programs provide a home away from home for DCFS youth in care. Provides youth with a loving home and prepares them for their future. Specialized Foster Care Program (SPEC) provides intensive therapeutic, educational, recreational, and placement services for youth that have experienced trauma. Emergency Foster Care Program (EFC) provides therapeutic and placement services for homeless youth and children and adolescents that are being transitioned into DCFS custody.
Residential Services
Located out of Momence, the purpose of this program is to provide safe, 24-hour supervised housing for delinquent and at-risk youth ages 15-18 while providing them with access to education and other ancillary services.
School-Age Programs
These programs' goal is to develop girls and boys into young women and men with active and creative minds; a sense of understanding and compassion for others. Programs stress the total development of each child; spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical. Students Excel with Family Enrichment S.E.F.E. Afterschool Program is currently providing tutoring and life skills to youth 5-14 years of age, before and after school at the Safe Haven! During the summer months, the S.A.F.E. Summer Camp provides eight (8) weeks of educational, recreational and spiritual support for children ages 5 years to 14 years of age. Participants receive 3 meals each day and go on fun and educational field trips twice a week.
