Services

Adult Mental Health Programs

Serves individuals 18 and over dealing with: depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, behavioral issues, trauma and/or PTSD, abuse, family conflict, relationship issues, self-harm, life changes, general coping skills, and more. Services offered include: Individual & Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Mental health educational services, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Art Therapy, psychiatric referrals, and more. Anger Management classes are also offered, which are open to all, but will also satisfy requirements set by the judicial court system, DCFS, or any other referring agencies.

Child & Adolescent Mental Health Programs

Serves children and adolescents dealing with: Behavioral issues, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Abuse, ADHD, Family conflict, Social skills deficits, Relationship issues and conflict, Cutting and self-harm behaviors, Discernment for future goals, Self-esteem and peer pressure difficulties, Bullying, social media pressures, and cyber bullying, Transitional issues: divorce, changing schools, moving, changes in guardianship, foster care, and more. Services currently offered include: Individual Therapy and Family Therapy, Crisis Services, Parenting Groups, Case Management & Service Coordination (Schools/Advocacy, Probation, Doctors, DCFS, etc.), and Psychiatric Services (for children aged 12+)

Consultation Services

Consultation services are available to physicians, professional practitioners, social agencies, and clients. They can involve psychiatric assessment, vocational evaluation, and case coordination to regional hospitals. IMHC staff attempt to provide mental health education services, as schedules permit, through presentations to schools and community groups wherever possible. These presentations include issues such as substance abuse, mental illness, suicide prevention and stress management.

Crisis 590 Program

Crisis 590 provides 24/7 crisis intervention services to anyone, anytime, and anywhere through the 988 number. Simply call or text 988 to connect with compassionate care and support for mental health related distress.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) connects employers with mental health services for their employees. Employers can offer this nominally priced benefit to their employees to boost company morale, combat absenteeism and low productivity, assist with workplace conflict, and improve turnover rates.

First.IL Program

First.IL is a specialized treatment program that helps individuals between the ages of 14-40. This program takes a manualized team-based approach to provide: psychiatric care, individual resiliency training, supported employment/education, family psychoeducation, recovery support, and case management.

Forensic Evaluations

Forensic evaluations available throughout the State of Illinois via Zoom, Google Meets, and In Person. Forensic psychology is the intersection between psychology and the justice system. Forensic psychological and neuropsychological evaluations involve criminal behavior, social issues, and knowledge of the law and principles of psychology in order to evaluate the dependents understanding of the charges and whether they can participate in their own defense. Iroquois Mental Health Center has a team of evaluators who are experienced licensed clinical psychologists with specialized forensic backgrounds. Services are performed by therapists, case managers and clinical psychologists.

Gambling Addiction Counseling

Provides specialized counseling for gambling addiction treatment. These services include: Gambling assessments, Outpatient counseling, Group counseling, Family sessions, Self-exclusions, and Referrals to support services. Aims to take a holistic approach not only to address gambling, but to treat the person as a whole to beat the addiction and achieve overall wellness. Gambling services are available at the Watseka location.

Individual Placement Services

The Individual Placement Services (IPS) program is committed to finding competitive employment for clients with serious mental illness seeking employment. The IPS program is closely integrated with all mental health treatment teams. The services provided by the staff are based on clients preferences and choices, rather than providers judgments. Clients are not excluded from the program on the basis of readiness, diagnoses, symptoms, psychiatric hospitalizations, level of disability, or legal system involvement. Through IPS, clients obtain personalized, understandable, and accurate information about their Social Security, Medicaid and other government entitlements with the assistance of a trained benefits counselor. IPS can assist individuals with: Resume Preparation, Interviewing Skills, Job Searches, Job Applications, Understanding Benefits, and more!

Outpatient Mental Health Services

Our adult mental health program serves individuals 18 and over dealing with: Abuse, Anxiety, Behavioral issues, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Family conflict, General coping skills, Life changes, Relationship issues, Schizophrenia, Self-harm, Trauma and/or PTSD, and more.

Substance Use Disorder Program

The Substance Use Disorder Program provides treatment to persons and groups desiring to resolve substance and related issues. The program provides individualized treatment planning and interventions with the long range goal of abstinence, assists the substance user to gain skills in order to improve social adaptation, and provides counseling to those persons directly impacted by the substance user to cope more effectively with life problems. Levels of Treatment Available: Early Intervention, Outpatient, and Intensive Outpatient. This also includes comprehensive DUI services for individuals referred from any state's court system, probation department, parole, employee assistance programs, or self-referrals. DUI Services include DUI Evaluations and DUI Assessments.Inpatient residential treatment for substance abuse in Manteno is no longer available. Only outpatient mental health services.
