Housing Rehabilitation

Assists with the rehabilitation of income-eligible, owner- or tenant- occupied properties in the city of Kankakee, including work on furnace, roof, and foundation.

Lead Poisoning Prevention Program

City-wide lead abatement in income-eligible rental or owner-occupied homes to help keep children under the age of six and pregnant women healthy and free of lead poisoning.

Private Security Camera Incentive Program

The Private Security Incentive Program offers a rebate incentive to residents, businesses, nonprofits, and religious institutions in the city of Kankakee that purchase and install security cameras and/or lighting that is intended to help deter crime and assist law enforcement with investigations.
