Strickler Planetarium

Named after Dr. Dwight Strickler, a former biology professor at Olivet, the digital planetarium features a wide array of full-dome visualizations and interactive shows with theatre seating. Each year, thousands view presentations on astronomy, earth and space science, and observing the night sky in the planetarium, one of only a few planetariums located on university campuses nationwide. Strickler Planetarium offers a variety of presentations. From Kindergarten to adult there is a program suitable for every age group. Private Presentations are available for 10 or more people. Presentations should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. To learn more about programming or make a group reservation, visit: https://strickler.olivet.edu/ OR call 815-939-5395.
