Village of Ashkum

Main Street Park Closes: 11:00 PM. The Ashkum Village Park is located on Main Street just east of the main business district. The park is home to the annual Ashkum Homecoming as well as numerous other social gatherings during the summer months. The pavilion is the centerpiece of the park where the social gatherings take place. It has a fully functional kitchen complete with serving windows and a large covered concrete pad filled with picnic tables. A beautiful and well-kept playground can keep the children entertained for hours. With a swing set, multiple slides, a sandbox, and various things for them to climb on, it can be hard to tell a child it is time to go home. For the older crowd that is looking to relax, the Village Park offers two marked full court basketball courts and two horseshoe pits as well as plenty of open space for your own activities.
